Finlay launches Japanese green tea in Bangladesh
Finlay has launched Japanese green tea - Shinrai - for the first time in Bangladesh. The launching ceremony was held at the leading supershop, Unimart, in Gulshan of Dhaka on 20 February.
Finlay has produced this popular Japanese Green Tea Shinrai using state of the art Japanese machineries, processing and packaging, read a press release.
This special Japanese Green tea is grown with Japanese technology and expertise in the 125 year old Sterling tea gardens of the Company located in Moulvibazar.
Distinguished guests present were Japan's Representative Ambassador ITO Naoki; along with Yuji Ando, country representative, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO); Hayakawa Yuho, chief representative, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA); Ali Reza Iftekhar, managing director and chief executive officer, Eastern Bank Limited.
Azam J Chowdhury, chairman, The Consolidated Tea and Lands Co. (Bangladesh) Ltd; its Director Showkat Ali Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer SAA Masrur spoke of the company's commitment to provide quality and best blends of tea for various segments of consumers of Bangladesh.
They also informed that Shinrai is produced and packed from the best blends of their own gardens, so that the consumers experience a greener cup of garden fresh Green Tea with necessary immunity boosting qualities and higher levels of anti-oxidants at all times for a healthier daily life.
Marketing consultant Rahbar A Anwar, General Manager Morshed Ahmed Chowdhury, Marketing Manager Sabbir Shahabuddin, members of Finlay's Creative and Communication Agency, Interspeed, were also present during the launching.
Shinrai Japanese Green tea is available in 25 tea bag sachets pack and 150g loose tea pack at renowned super shops located in Dhaka and Chattogram.
