Cox's Bazar former MP Bodi tests Covid-19 positive
Abdur Rahman Bodi, former member of parliament from Cox's Bazar, has been tested positive with the novel coronavirus on Friday.
Cox's Bazar Medical College and Hospital's coronavirus lab team member Dr Shahjahan Nazir confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
Bodi's PS Helaluddin said that Abdur Rahman Bodi has left Cox's Bazar for Square Hospital in the capital at 7:30pm Friday.
Bangladesh today confirmed 45 more deaths from the novel coronavirus and 3,243 new cases of infection testing 15,045 samples in the last 24 hours.
With this, the death toll from the deadly virus rose to 1,388 and the number of total infections stood at 1,05,535.
