Man with corona symptoms dies in isolation unit of KMCH
The deceased was 52 years old. He was from Phultala upazila of Khulna
A man, who was being treated at isolation unit for corona suspects in Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMC), died on early Wednesday.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Dr Shailendranath Bishwas, residential doctor (medicine) and focal person of the corona unit, said the deceased was 52 years old. He was from Phultala upazila of Khulna.
The man was admitted to the hospital at around 1:00am on Tuesday. He was suffering from kidney and respiratory problem. He died at around 2:00am on Wednesday.

His sample was collected for testing whether he was infected by coronavirus or not, said Dr Shailendranath.
Meanwhile, 1,038 samples were tested for detecting coronavirus infection at the hospital so far. Of them, eight people tested positive for Covid-19. Among the infected, five are from Khulna, including three doctors.
On Tuesday, a man died of coronavirus in the district. He was the first person in Khulna, who died of Covid-19 infection. He was a resident of Rupsha upazila.
