Rumours over coronavirus: Police looking for 82 admins of social media pages

Police are looking for 82 admins of different social media pages and sites for allegedly spreading rumours over the novel coronavirus.
They have already identified around 50 social media accounts and sent their information to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission for actions, said Sohel Rana, assistant inspector general of police.
He said some people have already been arrested in Dhaka Metropolitan Police areas, Chandpur, Khagrachhari, Chattogram and Kishoreganj for spreading rumours.

"We are also working at the moment to identify and locate people involved in spreading rumours," added he.
He further said their operation has been going on to arrest several others rumour-mongers.
