The US Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders urged the Trump administration to relax the sanctions in the crisis of coronavirus pandemic saying "It has caused suffering and death to Iranians."
He said this in a tweet on 31st March adressing the US secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Secretary of Treasury Steven Mnuchin saying: "Pandemics know no borders. Let us put aside our countries' disputes and lift sanctions to reduce human suffering."
