Mercantile Bank, NESCO signs agreement
Mercantile Bank signed an agreement with Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited (NESCO) to facilitate the collection of Electricity bills from the customers.
The agreement was signed by Mercantile Bank Senior Vice President and Zonal Head, North Bengal Region ASM Zakir Hossain and NESCO Deputy General Manager (Admin & Human Resources) ABM Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed on behalf of their respective organisations at NESCO head office in Rajshahi.
As per the agreement, Mercantile Bank will facilitate the collection of Electricity bill from the customers of NESCO through real-time online banking system, Mobile Financial Service "MyCash", Digital Banking App (MBL Rainbow), agent banking and other delivery channels, said a press release.

NESCO Managing Director Zakiul Islam, Executive Director (Admin & Finance) Sayed Golam Ahammad, and Chief Engineer (Acting) Distribution Area, Rajshahi Md Abdur Rashid alongside Marcantaile Bank Vice President and Head of Rajshahi Branch Abdul Matin, AVP and Head of ILM Division (Acting) Tapon James Rozario were present in the ceremony.
