Agrani Bank receives 'Remittance Award 2024'
Agrani Bank PLC has been awarded the Remittance Award 2024 for its remarkable contribution to collecting foreign remittance in the banking sector during the fiscal year 2023-2024.
The award was presented to Md. Anwarul Islam, Chief Executive Officer of Agrani Bank, at a ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka on 18 December 2024. The award was handed over by Dr. Asif Nazrul, Adviser to the Ministry of Law and the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, with Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan, Adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives, serving as the special guest.
