Agrani Bank wins ‘Top Ten Remittance Silver Award 2025’
Agrani Bank PLC has been honoured with the 'Top Ten Remittance Silver Award 2025' for achieving the second-highest remittance collection among all banks in 2024.
The award was presented during the inaugural session of the 'Branding Bangladesh' World Conference Series 2025, organised by the Centre for NRB. Mohammad Anwarul Islam, CEO of Agrani Bank PLC, accepted the award on behalf of the bank.
The Remittance Award ceremony featured distinguished guests on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 10:00 am. Mohammad Touhid Hossain, Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Barrister Saifuddin Khaled, Honourable Speaker of Tower Hamlets, UK, and Dr Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, also attended as special guests. The event was presided over by MS Shekil Chowdhury, Chairperson of the NRB Centre.
