Agrani Bank holds business progress meeting in Rangpur
Agrani Bank PLC convened a business progress meeting in Rangpur on 13 November 2024 to drive the successful implementation of "Uddipta Jatra-2024," a focused 58-day plan introduced by the bank's Chief Executive Officer, Md. Anwarul Islam. The initiative aims to reduce classified loans and reinforce loan recovery strategies within the Rangpur Circle.
The meeting, presided over by Rangpur Circle's General Manager, Swapan Kumar Dhar, welcomed CEO Md. Anwarul Islam as the chief guest, alongside AKM Shamim Reza, General Manager of the Recovery and NPA Management Division, who attended as a special guest. Regional heads from Rangpur, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Kurigram, and Gaibandha, as well as managers from 68 branches and nine Islamic banking window branches, participated, accompanied by senior executives of the bank.
During the session, CEO Md. Anwarul Islam provided targeted guidance on key priorities, including reducing classified loans, increasing deposits, facilitating new loans, and achieving operational profit, underscoring the bank's commitment to operational efficiency and financial growth in the region.
