EBL partners with BIDA to launch daycare center
Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has collaborated with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) to establish BIDA Daycare Center (BDCC). This initiative aims to enhance work-life balance for working mothers associated with BIDA, the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA), and the National Skills Development Authority Bangladesh (NSDA).
The daycare facility was inaugurated on 27 November 2024, at the Biniyog Bhaban in Agargaon, Dhaka. The ceremony was jointly led by Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman of BIDA, and Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of Eastern Bank Limited.
Prominent attendees included Dr. Khandoker Azizul Islam, Secretary of BIDA; Ahmed Shaheen, Additional Managing Director of EBL; and Riad Mahmud Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of Corporate Banking at EBL.
