Islami Bank Inaugurates Laxmipur Branch in Rajshahi
Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC inaugurated its 398th branch, Laxmipur Branch, in Rajshahi on 28th November 2024. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Obayed Ullah Al Masud, Chairman of Islami Bank, who addressed the program as the chief guest. The event also saw the presence of Md. Abdul Jalil, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Professor Dr. M. Masud Rahman, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, and Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, Independent Director, as special guests.
The event was presided over by Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director of the bank, and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Director, expressed his gratitude to the attendees. Md. Shamsuddoha, Head of Shari'ah Secretariat, presented a keynote on welfare-oriented banking, while Md. Shaiful Azam, Head of Rajshahi Zone, delivered the welcome speech.
The inauguration was attended by several prominent figures including Dr. Keramat Ali, educationist and social elite; Md. Mostafizur Rahman, President of Bangladesh Private Medical, Clinic & Diagnostic Owners' Association in Rajshahi Division; Dr. Fatema Siddiqua, Professor and Head of Gynecology Department at Islami Bank Medical College in Rajshahi; Dr. Md. Hasanuzzaman, Superintendent of Islami Bank Hospital; and Md. Saleh Ur Rahman, Chairman of Al Aksa Development Ltd. The event also saw greetings from various clients and invited guests.
