Janata Bank achieves PCI-DSS certification for the second time
Janata Bank PLC has recently achieved the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliance certification for the second time, ensuring the security of card operations and customer data protection.
Janata Bank is the first state-owned bank in Bangladesh to earn this certification.
On Wednesday, 12 February 2025, the certificate was handed over to the Managing Director, Md Mojibur Rahman, in a grand ceremony at the bank's headquarters. Mr Mashiul Islam, CEO of Consulting Service Partner EIC Limited, presented the certificate. Senior executives, including the bank's General Managers, were also present during the occasion.
