Janata Bank receives top ten remittance award
Janata Bank PLC received the highest foreign remittance in 2024 and was awarded the Top Ten Remittance Award in 2025.
The award was presented to Mr Golam Mortuza, Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC, by Dr Ahsan H Mansur, Governor of the Bangladesh Bank, at an event organised by the Centre for NRB held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on Saturday, January 11.
The Foreign Affairs Adviser, Mr Tauhid Hossain, was the chief guest at the event. The Chairman of the Centre for NRB, Sekil Chowdhury, presided over the event, and the British Bangladeshi Barrister Saifuddin Khaled, Speaker of Tower Hamlets, UK, was a special guest.
