Today, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Bangladesh Office announced the launch of a videography contest to engage the public in sharing their personal experiences with the MRT Line 6, developed with JICA's cooperation.
The contest, titled #MyMRTExperience, invites citizens, filmmakers, and content creators to capture their daily experiences with the MRT. The contest aims to showcase how the MRT has transformed the daily lives of its passengers and contributed to Dhaka's urban mobility since its launch.
To participate, upload a video (maximum duration of 2 minutes) on Facebook with the hashtags #MyMRTExperience #JICABangladesh #DhakaMetroRail. Only original and self-recorded videos will be accepted, and more than one submission will not be accepted. To participate in the contest, participants must ensure their Facebook profile is set to public.
Participants will stand a chance to win prizes, as the top 3 videos will be awarded BDT 50,000. Videos will be judged on criteria such as relevance to the theme, creativity, technical quality, impact, highlighting partnership and innovation, and reach.
