Sambhabna and ZSRM are providing free training to women
ZSRM and Sambhabna are conducting free short-term training schemes for underprivileged women in remote areas. Under this project, the backward and disadvantaged women in the remote areas of 64 districts of the country will be given free short-term hand industry and entrepreneurship development training.
On Tuesday (19 September) the distribution of certificates among the students of the first stage of the project and the activities of the project were inspected by the chairman of the cooperative organization ZSRM Hasan Uddin Ahmed, the managing director Saiful Islam Rajan and the vice president of Mutual Trust Bank Samima Haque.
In the first phase of the project, in collaboration with ZSRM, 40 women from Dhaka and 40 women from Pabna district were trained in block-batik and handicrafts. Women trainees at the event share their experiences and job requirements.
Chairman of ZSRM Hasan Uddin Ahmed said about this project, the country will move forward if men and women work together. He applauded the progress made by trained women and also advised them to work in a more professional and commercial manner.
Regarding this project, Managing Director of ZSRM Saiful Islam Rajan said, the contribution of women to improve the economic condition of the country is undeniable. Today's women are working equally outside the home. ZSRM honoured the contribution of women and hoped to work to inspire the backward women of society. He also praised the activities of the project.
Ariful Islam, the founder of the Sambhabna, said about this project, half of the population of our country is women. Therefore, the role of women in the material development of the country is outstanding. Women's self-reliance is very important to keep the country's economy moving and to bring about women's equality. Kudos to ZSRM for taking part in non-profit but developmental work to empower women.
He also said that Anondito Women's Skills Development Center started its journey in 2017 with the aim of empowering women and developing women's skills. The organization has provided various types of training to women with the participation of renowned youth trainers of the country and with the support of various reputed organizations of the country to manage the potential. Anondito Womens is working to create permanent employment for underprivileged women, including skill development, sewing training, reproductive health services, child education awareness, prevention of child marriage, among women in slums and remote areas of the country.
Vice President of Mutual Trust Bank, Samima Haque, Mushfiqa Nishat, Co-Entrepreneur and Director of Anondito Women's Skills Development Center, Mushfika Nishat, Co-Entrepreneur and Head of Finance Al Amin Hossain, Co-Entrepreneur and Head of Finance, Al-Amin Hossain, officers, employees and trainees of Samima Haque were also present on the occasion.
