The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) proudly announces its participation in the World Health Organization's (WHO) QualityRights initiative in collaboration with the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.
This groundbreaking global movement aims to drive systemic mental health and human rights change and ensure inclusive and stigma-free communication practices.
ULAB's commitment to the initiative underscores its dedication to fostering a culture of mental health awareness, advocacy, and education. By joining this transformative effort, ULAB reaffirms its role as a leader in promoting mental well-being in academia and beyond.
"The mental health of students, faculty, and professionals is essential for a thriving academic and professional environment," said Professor Jude William Genilo, Pro-VC of ULAB. "Through the WHO QualityRights e-training, we are equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to challenge stigma, foster inclusivity, and advocate for mental health as a fundamental human right."
The WHO QualityRights e-training is a free, self-guided programme that empowers participants to enhance mental health awareness, challenge stigma, and promote inclusive communication within ULAB's educational framework.
As part of a diverse global coalition, ULAB stands alongside leading institutions worldwide in taking meaningful action for mental health. By encouraging students, educators, and professionals to complete the QualityRights e-training, ULAB enhances individual awareness and contributes to a broader movement for systemic change in Bangladesh and beyond.
