Sea Pearl incurs loss of Tk17cr in Jul-Dec
In the October to December quarter, its revenue stood at Tk23 crore, which was Tk48 crore a year ago
Sea Pearl Beach Resort incurred a loss of Tk17 crore in the first half - July to December 2024 - of the ongoing fiscal year 2024-25.
Its revenue also dropped by 69% to Tk33 crore in the July-December period from Tk107 crore compared to the same period of the last fiscal year, according to the company's financial statement released today (29 January).
At the end of September, the company's loss per share stood at Tk1.37.
In the October to December quarter, its revenue stood at Tk23 crore, which was Tk48 crore a year ago.
Its incurring loss stood at Tk3 crore and its per-share loss stood at Tk0.31.
On Wednesday Sea Pearl's shares closed at Tk31.30 at the Dhaka Stock Exchange dropping by 2.26% from the previous session.
