Flora BD: Turning travel memories into custom fridge magnets
Since launching in July last year, the brand has delivered over 3,200 magnets nationwide
Collecting home fridge magnets from different countries and cities is a common practice among travellers, as a way to cherish memories. But have you ever thought about personalising those magnets with your own travel photos?
Flora BD, a creative venture launched by Fardina Rahman and her husband, Sadman Ahmed, offers unique, customisable fridge magnets that allow you to preserve your travel memories in a truly personal way.
"During our travels, my husband and I loved collecting souvenir fridge magnets. However, we realised there was no option to customise them with our own memories. That's when the idea struck: why not turn our special moments into photo magnets?" Fardina shared.

Upon returning home, the couple researched the idea and discovered a way to bring it to life. This inspiration led to the creation of customisable photo magnets at Flora BD, where customers are allowed to transform their cherished memories into keepsakes.
The customisation process is simple. Customers submit their preferred images, which are then edited, resized, and colour-corrected to ensure optimal quality. After printing the photos using a high-resolution commercial printer, a precision cutting machine shapes them perfectly.
Each magnet is protected with a mylar film and reinforced with a magnetic backing for durability. Once the quality checks are completed, the magnets are ready for delivery.
Since launching in July last year, Flora BD has grown rapidly, delivering over 3,200 magnets nationwide. The magnets are available in a standard 2.5" x 2.5" size, perfect for transforming favourite travel moments, personal photos, brand logos, and even cartoon characters into
magnets.
"These magnets are ideal for capturing your memories, personal designs, or company logos. Whether it's for individual use or bulk orders, we bring your vision to life," added Fardina.
In addition to fridge magnets, Flora BD offers over 250 products, including their signature hair bow collection and a variety of home décor items.
