'Fantastic Beasts 3' starts filming today
'Fantastic Beasts 3' is set for release on November 12, 2021.
"Fantastic Beasts 3" is set to begin principal photography on Monday, March 18. Little is known about the plot of the film other than its events take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The movie will be the eleventh story in the Harry Potter cinematic franchise and the third in the Fantastic Beasts story. It is set for release on November 12, 2021.
Harry Potter author JK Rowling is co-writing the script for "Fantastic Beasts 3" alongside Steve Kloves, who wrote seven out of eight of the Potter films. Plus, it's been reported that Jessica Williams, who plays Professor Eulalie "Lally" Hicks, will have a more significant role in the third film. The movie was initially supposed to shoot in July 2019, but the producers decided to take a longer prep time before filming.
