Timothée Chalamet will be seen exhibiting his singing and dancing skills with several musical numbers in the movie
The Oscar-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet is all set to play the world's most famous chocolatier Willy Wonka in Warner Bros prequel film based on Roald Dahl's classic novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The film titled "Wonka" will follow the adventures of Willy Wonka before he opened his iconic chocolate factory, reports Deadline.
Paddington director Paul King will direct the movie while David Heyman, who produced the "Harry Potter" film series for Warner Bros, will produce the movie alongside Michael Siegel, the manager of the Roald Dahl Estate.
According to sources, the young actor will be seen exhibiting his singing and dancing skills with several musical numbers set to appear in the movie.
This marks the third time WB has taken on the Wonka story, with the previous versions being adaptations of Dahl's classic novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The first one, in 1971, starred Gene Wilder as Wonka, and the second in 2005 starred Johnny Depp in the role.
