Teachers of St Gregory's High School and College reported that classrooms, teachers' rooms, and the canteen were vandalised during the attacks.
This closure follows similar decisions by Kabi Nazrul Government College and Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College in the capital.
The unrest began after students of Dr Mahbubur Rahman Molla College protested at National Medical College and Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College on Sunday, alleging the death of a student, Abhijit Howlader, due to medical negligence.
Extensive vandalism and looting occurred during these incidents.
On Monday (25 November), students of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul Government College launched retaliatory attacks on Dr Mahbubur Rahman Molla College in Jatrabari.
During the attacks, various equipment and materials from the college were taken away. Clashes erupted between students from the attacking institutions, students of Dr Mahbubur Rahman Molla College, and residents.
Eyewitnesses and related sources confirmed that the attacks on Dr Mahbubur Rahman Molla College were in retaliation for the previous day's incidents.
