CA to inaugurate Dhaka International Trade Fair tomorrow
The 29th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) 2025, is set to start tomorrow (1 January) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal.
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will inaugurate the fair at 10am, said Trade Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin today during a press conference at the fair premises.
The press conference was attended by Commerce Ministry Secretary Mohang Selim Uddin, Vice Chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Md Anwar Hossain, and Additional Secretary of the Commerce Ministry Md Abdur Rahim Khan.

During the press conference, an MoU was signed between the EPB and app-based service provider Uber to offer special discounts on transportation for fair visitors.
Additionally, the Trade Adviser launched the e-ticketing app for entry to the Dhaka International Trade Fair.
Similar to previous years, the Commerce Ministry and EPB are jointly organising the fair.
