Religious Affairs Advisor mentions hamdard a model for nation building
Professor Dr A F M Khalid Hossain, the Religious Affairs Advisor to the Interim Government, stated that if corruption is eradicated, no one can prevent the new Bangladesh's development and prosperity.
He made this statement during a discussion session held on Monday, January 6th, 2025, at Hamdard's modern factory located in Sonargaon, Narayanganj. In his speech, the Religious Affairs Advisor stressed the importance of drawing inspiration from Hamdard's humanitarian work and stepping forward to contribute to the nation-building process.
Dr Hakim Md presided over the session. Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan, the Chief Mutawalli and Managing Director of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh. The welcome address was delivered by Brigadier General (Retd.) Mahbub Anwar, Director of Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh. Amirul Momenin Manik, Director of Information and Public Relations, gave the presentation. Other notable attendees included Bashir Ahmed, Director of Production, and Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Director of Administration and Director (Additional Charge) of Legal and Protocol.
Following the discussion session, the Religious Affairs Advisor visited various units of the Hamdard modern factory and planted herbal trees on the factory premises. Later, he visited Hamdard University Bangladesh and Hamdard General Hospital in Gazaria, Munshiganj. During his visit to the university campus, Professor Dr A F M Khalid Hossain also planted trees.
