Liberation War Museum trustee Ziauddin Tariq Ali died from the novel Covid-19 today at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital this morning.

Tariq Ali, also president of Sammilito Samajik Andolon, left behind his wife, son, daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of him.
In a message, she recalled the contribution of valiant Freedom Fighter Tariq Ali in implementing the spirit of the great Liberation War. Sheikh Hasina prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
