Dhaka North to introduce smart car parking system: Mayor
The smart car parking system will be initiated with a provision of payment of a certain amount of money as charge for parking car on the road.
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) is going to introduce a 'smart car parking' system by setting up a sensor on the road to avert haphazard car parking on the road.
"We are initiating a smart car parking system in the city with a provision of payment of a certain amount of money as charge for parking car on the road," said DNCC Mayor M Atiqul Islam while inaugurating road development work on road-3 in Uttara sector-4 in the capital today.
Local lawmaker Advocate Sahara Khatun attended the programme as the chief guest while DNCC chief engineer Brigadier General Sayeed Ahmed and Regional Executive Officer Zulkar Nain, among others, were present on the occasion.
