Belarus national working in Rooppur Power Plant project dies
The diseased, Ihar Belahu, was the deputy director of the Russian contractor company.
A Belarus national, who was working in the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project, died due to heart complications on Thursday night.
The diseased is Ihar Belahu who was the deputy director of the Russian contractor company – Otret Roshem Limited.
Ruhul Kuddus, the site-in-charge of the power plant project, said Ihar was taken to a nearby medical centre after he felt severe pain in his chest in the evening. After first aid, he was taken to the SDM Hospital in Rajshahi where he died around 9pm.
Officer-in-Charge Aurobindo Sarkar of Ishwardi police station confirmed the matter to The Business Standard, saying Ihar's body had been kept in Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
An arrangement of sending his body to his home country will be made through the embassy concerned, said Arbindo.
