Action against Minni if found involved: Kamal
Dulal raised 10-point allegation against Minni
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Sunday said law enforcement agencies will find out if Minni was involved in the killing of Rifat.
Kamal said this in reply to a question during a press briefing on maintaining the law and order situation before Eid-ul-Adha at his office.
The minister also said, “The investigation is going on and if she is found involved, necessary actions will be taken against her.”
Earlier, Abdul Halim Dulal, the father of Rifat Sharif, who was hacked to death in Barguna Town on June 26, demanded the arrest of his daughter-in-law Ayesha Akter Minni, to investigate whether she had colluded with the killer gang.
He alleged that Minni concealed the matter that she was previously married off to Nayan, who was the main accused of Rifat murder case. She used to visit Nayan’s house frequently.
Besides, instead of trying to protect Rifat on the day, she was busy with herself and even ‘helped the killers’, according to Dulal.
Dulal raised 10-point allegation against Minni who has been made the first witness in the case.
