Fire at Katabon Market doused
A fire started at around 8:20pm on Sunday at the Dhaka University Market in the Katabon area of the capital.
Abul Hasan, assistant commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's New Market zone confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
Sources at the fire service said that 2 fire trucks were sent to douse the flames.

Alamgir Hossain, proprietor of Ekushey Gift Point said that the fire originated at a printing press above his shop at the market.
"The fire service doused the fire at around 9:00pm," sources at the fire service headquarters said.
