Lightning strike kills 2 women in Brahmanbaria

Two women were killed by lightning strike in Kaziatali village under Kasba upazila on Friday.
The deceased are Sweety Akter, 30, wife of Monir Hossain and Khuki Akter, 25, wife of Sarower Hossain.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Kasba Police Station Officer-in-Charge Lokman Hossain said the women were boiling paddy in their house yard in the afternoon.

They got critically injured after getting hit by lightning strike during rain.
The women were rushed to Kasba Upazila Health Complex, where an on-duty doctor declared both of them dead on arrival.
