Kazi Rafiqul Islam appointed as PSTU’s new vice-chancellor
He has been appointed on deputation for the next four years
Patuakhali Science & Technology University (PSTU) has appointed Kazi Rafiqul Islam as the vice-chancellor.
He has been appointed on deputation for the next four years.
He is Professor of Pharmacology Department of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).

He was appointed to the post in a notice issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education today (25 September) morning.
The Deputy Secretary Rokshana Begum signed the notice by order of the President.
His tenure will be four years from the date of joining the post of vice-chancellor. He will get salary equivalent to his present post. He will enjoy other benefits as per the rules. Besides, he will stay on the campus full-time as the chief executive officer of the university.
The President and Chancellor can cancel this appointment at any time if necessary.
