Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque on Saturday told parliament that 3,107 'fake certificates' of freedom fighters and gazettes have so far been revoked.
"So far, 3,107 'fake certificates' of freedom fighters and gazettes have been cancelled," he said replying to a scripted question from Awami League MP Nurunnabi Chowdhury (Bhola-3).
On the other hand, the government received recommendations for the incorporation of names of 4,188 freedom fighters from the dropout category, said the minister.
