PM follows zero tolerance policy against corruption in all sectors: Quader
He requested the authorities concerned to increase the coverage of telemedicine services to provide necessary medical advice to Covid-19 patients who are undergoing treatment at home
General Secretary of the Bangladesh Awami League Obaidul Quader has stated that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina follows zero tolerance policy against irregularities and corruption in every sector, not just in the health sector.
The minister said this at a media briefing from his residence on Sunday morning.
During the briefing, he also requested the authorities concerned to increase the coverage of telemedicine services to provide necessary medical advice to Covid-19 patients who are undergoing treatment at home.
Obaidul Quader urged the authorities concerned to provide medical services without discrimination.
He said, "The country's Covid-19 testing capacity is increasing day by day. If more patients are identified through tests, it will be easier to prevent the spread of infection."
He called upon the government as well as private entrepreneurs to set up more PCR labs.
He also urged Awami League leaders and workers to stand by the people in the flood-hit districts in this time of the Covid-19 crisis.
