Shakib, Tamim pay tribute to Bangabandhu on his birthday

The whole of Bangladesh is celebrating the 101st birthday of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bangladesh national team ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan paid their tribute by terming him as the greatest person who still keeps inspiring millions.

"Your goals are our goal – to take pride in our country and flag. We pay our respects to our beloved Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his 101st birthday," he said.
Bangladesh are currently in New Zealand and will face the hosts in the first of the three-match ODI series in Dunedin on March 20.
