Prof Dr Tarek Shamsur Rehman found dead
Professor Dr Tarek Shamsur Rehman was found dead inside his flat today.
He was teacher of International Relations Department at Jahangirnagar University.
Police broke down the door to his flat in the Uttara apartment project in Sector 14 and recovered his body at 11 am.

Rajuk's Uttara apartment project director Md Mozaffar Ahmed confirmed his death.
Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Division, Md Shahidullah said, "Dr Tarek had iftar at his place yesterday and that is the last time the housemaid saw him. This morning when she came for work and rang the bell, Dr Tarek did not answer. That's when she called the building security and they called the police."
Dr Tarek Shammsur Rehman's dead body has been taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
He lived alone in the flat as his family lives abroad.
