Walton E-Plaza receives ‘Ecommerce Movers Award 2020’

Walton Bangladesh's online sales platform Walton E-Plaza has bagged the 'Ecommerce Movers Award 2020' for its significant contribution during Covid-19 pandemic through e-commerce.
The award ceremony programme was held at Purbachal in the capital on the occasion of the sixth founding anniversary of E-Cab , an organization of e-commerce traders, said a Walton press release.
Sabiha Jarin Orna, director of Walton Group received the award from State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak.
The programme was conducted by president of E-cab Shomi Kaiser and attended by Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Md. Zafar Uddin as a special guest.
Walton E-Plaza is delivering the required electronics and technology products as per demand through the online platform for the overall convenience of the buyers in compliance with the government guidelines and hygiene rules even in the corona situation.
Walton has been carrying out various activities with great initiative from the very beginning to deal with Covid-19. It distributed various safety equipment including PPE among people of various important professions including health workers, law enforcement agencies, and journalists across the country. In addition to donating to the Corona Tackle Fund of various government and non-government organizations, Walton is also distributing food and sanitizers to the poor people.
In addition, it has been manufacturing and distributing various medical and safety equipment including Oxygen Supplier or Ventilator, Medicart Robot, UVC Disinfection System, Safety Goggles, Face Shield, Hand Sanitizer in its own factory in Bangladesh.
