Dhaka North fines Tk14,000 for breaching lockdown restrictions
The fines were imposed on 14 cases
The Dhaka North City Corporation on Thursday operated mobile courts and fined a total of Tk13,900 in 14 cases for breaching lockdown protocols.
The mobile courts were conducted to ensure that the government-imposed lockdown was being observed properly in Dhaka North.
The mobile court exacted Tk7000 in fines for seven cases in Ward 14 and 16 of Zone-4 of Dhaka North for showing disregard for government orders regarding the lockdown, for not using face masks, for not maintaining social distance, and opening hotels, restaurants and shops. Tk6900 was fined in seven other cases in Ward 39 and 40 of Zone-9.
