Former UP chairman dies with Covid-19 symptoms in Khulna

Bazlur Rahman, former upazila parishad (UP) chairman of Naihati union, died on Wednesday with Covid-19 symptoms at the isolation ward of Khulna Medical College Hospital.
"He was admitted to the hospital at 8:30am with Covid-19 symptoms including respiratory problems and breathed his last at 9:45am," said Dr Mizanur Rahman, resident medical officer and Corona Unit spokesperson of the hospital.
Sample has been collected from the body for coronavirus testing, the doctor added.
