Two terrorists arrested in Bhola with firearms and weapons
In a special operation conducted by the Bangladesh Coast Guard South Zone on 18 December 2024, two notorious terrorists were arrested in Bhola with weapons.
The operation took place between 0130 and 0500 hours in Koralia village, South Dighaldi Union, Bhola Sadar Upazila. Based on confidential information, the Coast Guard targeted a gang of robbers led by Yunus, who had been involved in extortion, looting, and other criminal activities in the region.
During the operation, the Coast Guard seized one local firearm and five machetes, arresting Almugir Matbarr (60) and his son Riyad Matbarr (38), both known members of the gang.

The arrested individuals, along with the seized weapons, were handed over to the Bhola Sadar Model Police Station for further action.
