Couple found dead in Kurigram
Police recovered the bodies of a married couple from their home in Nageshwari municipal area of Kurigram this morning.
The deceased are Nazrul Islam Meyna, 55, and Rumi Begum, 35, of Baniapara area in Nageshwari, confirmed Nageshwari police station Officer-in-Charge Rowsan Kabir.
In the morning, Meyna's brother found his body on a chair while Rumi's body was lying on the bed.

As the duo did not wake up in the morning, Meyna's brother went to call them and found the door of the room open.
The brother called the police. Upon recovery, the police sent the bodies to Kurigram Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
"We suspect that the couple were strangled to death," said the OC.
A case was filed with Nageshwari police station in this connection, he said.
