A garment worker from Nilphamari has been tested positive for coronavirus today.
The man hails from Kalisha Kapa Madhupur area of Saidpur, Nilphamari.
Dr AKM Nur-Un-Nabi Laiju, professor of Rangpur Medical College, said, "The man is a garment worker in Narayanganj. Recently he arrived here due to the lockdown. We collected and tested his samples along with 88 others on Wednesday."

"We sent the samples to IEDCR and he was tested positive," he added.
Earlier, Rangpur previously had two positive cases. One of them is a doctor.
Rangpur Medical College has started examining the sixth batch of testing with 91 samples from today.
