Kalu Mia knows every single detail of what celebrities like to eat when they are on the FDC premises.
For example, actor Shabnur likes duck meat while Moushumi likes fish, chicken and kala bhuna (special beef curry).
Mahiya Mahi loves spicy food.

Various kinds of bhorta and vegetable are her favourite dishes, among other items cooked by Kalu Mia.
Actor Bappy Chowdhury likes vegetables as well.
Kala bhuna is a popular item in the FDC food menu; most celebrities like it.
Actor Ferdous, Shakib Khan, Simon, and Riaz used to frequently eat it until they reduced their red meat intake.
But other actors are also big fans of this specially prepared beef curry.
Popular actor Purnima also likes it.
Some actors such as Arifin Shuvoo like to eat simple dishes such as daal (lentils/pulses), and fish.
The fish roe and the special potato chips are his favourites.
Catering service provider Kalu Mia described the celebrities' favourite food items. Kalu Mia told The Business Standard, "If we go to any shooting spot, we supply food for the celebrities separately in different boxes. Production managers usually inform us beforehand which celebrity is on set, and we prepare the meals accordingly."
He provides food on film, TVC and drama sets.
He is one of the very few people who know what celebrities like to eat.
The delicious food he cooks is known as FDC food.
Kalu Mia's hotel is located right outside the FDC premises. Anybody can eat lunch there.
And if anybody is interested in ordering food from Kalu Mia, they have to place the order at least two days earlier. The food will be delivered on time.
There is a garage next to Kawran Bazaar rail line and if anybody takes the first turn to their right, s/he will see three hotels situated on the first alley.
In a row, there is Saleh Hotel, Kalu Mia's Hotel, and Halim Hotel and Restaurant.
There are eight stoves on the backyard of the each hotel and cooking starts from early morning on big woks. Rice is cooked in big pots.
Employees of the hotels serve the food to the cast and crew members of shooting units.
They charge extra if the food needs to be delivered outside.
Polao, biriyani, and khichuri are also available among other items at Kalu Mia's Hotel.
These dishes need to be ordered before a minimum of two days and for 15 persons at least.
The supply of rice and daal is unlimited with any item while dining at the hotel.
It has been near 15 years since Kalu Mia has been providing food on FDC sets.
"The package containing rice, lentils, kala bhuna and vegetables will cost Tk150. If you take chicken or fish instead of beef, then it would cost around Tk100. The price is same for the shooting units; however, the price goes down for party packs," stated Kalu Mia.
"I do grocery shopping everyday in order to serve fresh food. As we cook carefully, our food items have earned popularity,"Kalu Mia informed.
Bappy Chowdhury said, "I have been eating FDC food from the very first day on FDC, now shoot days feel incomplete without it. I find it very delicious."
