Litton Das returned to form at the right time in the ongoing Global T20 Canada as he helped Surrey Jaguars ace a tricky chase in their six-wicket win against Brampton Wolves at the CAA Center in Brampton.
Chasing 129, the Jaguars were in massive trouble after losing three wickets inside five overs and the onus was on the captain Iftikhar Ahmed and his deputy Litton to bail them out of trouble.
Iftikhar struggled for runs initially and played second fiddle to Litton who was in sublime touch. The Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter hit three fours and as many sixes in his match-winning 45-ball-59.
Litton played the pull shot to perfection. 25 of his runs came through the midwicket region.
